Lessons include: there's no super power like practice; one's imagination is often scarier than the reality; many of the best inventions are built using other great ideas.

82. What if ninja turtles could fly and birds could cry?

Uh-oh, a portal got opened to What Is World last week and Cthunkle used it to get back to What If World! Meanwhile, Charlotte Songbird starts feeling less special when she finds out that everyone she meets can fly. Upset, she finds her way to a place where no one deals with their emotions. Could it be another one of Cthunkle’s evil schemes?

Lessons include: constantly comparing yourself to others can make anyone unhappy; no amount of super-powers can teach you to deal with your own emotions.

81. What if Fair Elise got really frustrated with Alabaster Zero and teleported him to What Is World?

When a stray spell from a frustrated fairy flings Alabaster into the real world, he’ll have to finally take responsibility for his own actions! Will he learn to take his job seriously, or will he be stuck at Mr. Eric’s house forever?

Lessons include: thinking you’re good at something isn’t enough, you have to keep working hard in order to improve; when your goofy antics bother your friends, it’s time to give them a rest

80. What if cows could make money from mooing?

What If World has its first crush! Well, its moon does anyway. Get ready to meet the Moon Cow Crooners and hear Mr. Eric’s first quasi-Australian accent. Just remember, What If World’s accents are all just a little bit different from What Is World’s ;)

Lessons include: we should own up to our mistakes rather than make silly excuses; picking on someone is not a good way to show you care

79. What if unicorns turned to rocks when they’re shy? (with Greg Webb)

Emmatrice Widdle Pony Unistony has been shyly hiding as a stone in the woods until Fairien the Fairy Alien comes to take over the worl – ahem – make a new friend. Can Fairien be a good friend and respect Emma’s shyness, or will he forget the whole thing and conquer What If World?

Emmatrice Widdle Pony Unistony has been shyly hiding as a stone in the woods until Fairien the Fairy Alien (voiced by Greg Webb of Purple Rocket Podcast) comes to take over the worl - ahem - make a new friend.

Lessons include: safety is about learning the smartest way to try something new; fun can be big and loud or little and quiet, you should try a bit of both; make sure you always respect your friends’ boundaries
If you enjoyed this week’s story, please check out Greg Webb’s Purple Rocket Podcast! A big thanks to Greg for voicing the character of Fairien.

Professor Mooshpants and Dr. Nozetal are some of What If World’s maddest scientists. They also happen to be among the youngest. Can the brilliant baby and precocious puppy work together to free themselves from a maximum security day care? Or will they have to wait until their parents pick them up?!

Lessons include: time flies when you stay engaged and challenged; good friends try out each other’s favorite things and grow in the process!

77. What if parents went to school and kids went to work? (with Rhea Pechter)

Mr. Eric teams up with Rhea Pechter of Little Stories for Tiny People this week. Fair Elise and Pixacato are fed up with work and school, respectively. Good thing it’s Freaky Friday! Can Fair Elise survive a day in ballet school? Can Pixacato solve the mystery of the missing robot brains? Did Alabaster Zero also get Freaky Friday’d, or does the grizzled cop just really love ballet?

Lessons include: both work and school take a special kind of endurance, we should respect each other’s efforts; parents will always look out for you, but that doesn’t mean you can’t look out for them, too!
