What If World

a story podcast for kids

What If World is a storytelling podcast for kids. Each week, Mr. Eric takes a "what if?" question from a friend and spins it into a story just for you!

128. What if villagers got treasures when they made mistakes?

Zizi and Zach are back! This time, they’re trying to find a place to test out their magical powers. Where better than the Village of Mistake? Wait, I meant where worse? Gosh, we may be making more mistakes than usual this week...

Lessons include: It’s important to make mistakes so that you can learn from them; there are some things that aren’t safe to practice without professional adult supervision.

125. What if rich ghosts were bad at selling cars?

Poppa Loo starts a job at Boo Boo’s Used and New Car Emporium. But when butterflies turn to butter, they’ll need more than “cheesy” sales tactics to get through the day.

Lessons include: Most people appreciate honesty, even if they don’t always like what they hear; it’s important to like yourself if you want others to like and respect you.

54. (Rerun) What if ninjas and pirates starting fighting over which chair they wanted to sit in?

Pirates and ninjas and robots, oh my! Mr. Eric tackles two questions this week, as Ninja Girlden and Petey the Pirate meet for the first time. They’re both so anxious about making a good impression that they end up arguing over a chair! (First aired 11/20/17)

Lessons include: First impressions are tough, but giving someone a second chance is easy; being possessive can get in the way of fun and play

3 - What if I lived in a spooky, scary house? (Remastered)

In this slightly scary episode, Mamma Jamma & Poppa Loo join Mr. Eric in the studio to talk about their house hunt. Can Zizi deal handle their new spooky house? Does Zach sleep through the entire episode? (spoiler: yyyup)

Lessons include: in a dangerous or scary place, you should always stick together; try to figure out as much as you can about a situation before jumping to wild conclusions.

87 - What if mommies lasso a dinosaur and give him butterfly kisses (plus blueberry muffin houses)

A story for the origins! Go back to a time before Zack was even born, when Mamma Jamma, Papa Loo, and Zizi rented their first house. Sure the house is a blueberry muffin, but surely no one will try to eat it, right?

Lessons include: quick fixes and violent solutions just lead to more problems; real change takes time, effort, and an open mind.
