287. CJ asks: What if everything that rhymed was true? (Kids Listen Summer Sampler 2023)

Lessons include: There are no shortcuts to learning a new skill; practice can be fun even when you fail.

269. Cal asks: What if all the dragons, dinosaurs, spiders and snakes had a big party? (w/ Miss Karen)
After the Time Vortex, everything was supposed to go back to normal. Or maybe all the monsters were supposed to end up having a party at Mr. Eric and Miss Karen’s house…
Lessons include: Having guests and being a guest can both be challenging; checking in and sharing feelings is especially important when our routine is disrupted

182. A Ballerdino Halloweeno (Guilds & Goblins #3)
The Whatventurers (thanks Sam E. for the name suggestions) are back to save their friends from a strange song that seems to be luring them into the mist!
Lessons include: failure can be part of the fun, especially when you’re playing a game with friends; taking time to feel sad can be very healing, and get you ready to feel happy and/or goofy again before you know it.

181. What if ballerinas met with dinosaurs? (Guilds & Goblins #2)
Zachimedes, Lowlandra, and Scullen Bones are back, trying to free their people from the accursed Trumpet of Travel. But when an enchanted caterwaul draws the players into a spooky mist, they’re going to need all their wits to survive! May the dice be with them!
Lessons include: playing the blame game can often distract your from the real problem; it’s okay to give friends and family a little space when they’re processing big feelings.
This episode is sponsored in part by Hank the Cowdog, a new podcast for kids starring Matthew McConaughey as the voice of Hank, the self-proclaimed head of security on his Texas cattle ranch. Check it out on Apple Podcasts or wherever you listen!

89. What if I could fly over traffic?
Haven’t we all wondered this? Hasn’t everyone in What If World… but wait… most of them can already fly. No way this could be a disaster, unless of course Cthunkle gets involved. He does? Oh forget it.
Lessons include: if everyone refuses to wait their turn, then nobody gets a turn! Patience can be trying, but it can also be an opportunity to entertain yourself in a creative way, or to meet someone new.

87. What if mommies lasso a dinosaur and give him butterfly kisses?
A story for the origins! Go back to a time before Zack was even born, when Mamma Jamma, Papa Loo, and Zizi rented their first house. Sure the house is a blueberry muffin, but surely no one will try to eat it, right?
Lessons include: quick fixes and violent solutions just lead to more problems; real change takes time, effort, and an open mind.

Get ready to dance the Crabbarena with Coco Crab, Czarina Ballerina, and all of What If World’s greatest super-heroes. Miss Karen co-hosts another great episode and debuts her Russian accent. Don’t miss this one!
Lessons include: You don’t have to be the best at something to have fun doing it; some people have natural talents, but most of us have to work hard to get good at anything
