What If World

a story podcast for kids

What If World is a storytelling podcast for kids. Each week, Mr. Eric takes a "what if?" question from a friend and spins it into a story just for you!

359. Adopt-A-Fred Part 2: Khaki Attacky

It’s Molamo’s turn to tell a story (or two). Can he and Abacus P. Grumbler the wizard learn to face their problems? Also, a pair of pants has taken over the world.

Lessons include: We need to face our problems to grow; not everyone will like your art, but how you feel about it matters most.

355. Cryptid Kids #10: Worlds Collide

The Cryptid Kids must track down Cthunkle before he can steal the magical power of an entire world.

Lessons include: Being all-powerful would take all the surprises out of life; when playing make-believe, we all get to add to the story.

This story is part of a Guilds & Goblins campaign, where What If World characters (and guests) play an original tabletop RPG for kids and families. Real-life dice rolls, usually with a 20-sided die (or d20), help us tell the story, along with your questions. Listen to episodes 327, 328, 330, 331, 341, 342, 344, 345, & 354, Cryptid Kids #1 to #9, to start from the beginning!

353. Meditation: What if Petey shared his secret?

In Petey the Pirate's acceptance meditation, we will ride a unicorn to Planet Perfect, cause an air-traffic jam in New What City, and help Petey accept his true self.

Lessons include: Seeing yourself and your problems from a distance can be very relaxing; sharing our authentic selves is more important than trying to please others.
